Well hidden within this cavity is an incredible amount of tech, including a revolutionary CORTECH design and Contour Ellipse Face to optimise ball speed and launch across the entire clubface. A completely new head construction has been required to achieve this, which Mizuno engineers have developed to bridge the gap between the explosive distance of the JPX925 Hot Metal Irons and the unparalleled feel of their fully forged offerings.
Each iron within the JPX925 Forged set has been tailored to the specific needs at that loft. The 4-7 irons utilise a forged Chromoly face and neck as part of a multi-material construction alongside a stainless steel back. This gives Mizuno's engineers complete flexibility to optimise their CORTECH design and CG depth to encourage a higher launch and faster ball speeds off the face. On the other hand, the scoring irons (8-GW) are fully forged from Carbon Steel to deliver complete control with incredible feel.
