Grind Options

• New “B” Grind: This low-bounce design sits close to the turf address and best suits shallow attack angles or firmer conditions and more square face delivery. The sole's width provides surprising forgiveness for a low-bounce option. Available in 58° and 60°.
• “T” Grind: The most versatile wedge grind in the lineup is engineered for medium-firm turf conditions and lends itself to golfers seeking precise shot-making around the greens. At the request of their tour pros, Ping has added a 62° to the original 58° and 60° offerings in the S159.
• “W” Grind: The wider sole provides unmatched forgiveness for a speciality wedge. Available from 54° to 60°, this grind best suits golfers with a steeper attack angle, those who play with a lot of handle lean, or those looking for a slightly more forgiving option around the green.
• “E” or Eye2 Grind: A classic Ping wedge grind, continuing a 40-year tradition of being the ultimate bunker club. Delivering a relatively low bounce on square or slightly open club face shots, this grind is available in 54°, 56°, 58°, and 60°.
• “S” Grind: Fitting the broadest range of techniques and conditions, the s-grind delivers ample bounce in the mid-section, with enough heel and trail edge relief to provide versatility when needed. A new 48° gives golfers an extra option to help with gapping, meaning this grind is now available from 46° to 60°.

We believe you’ll get along well with your new wedge, but if you don’t, our 60-Day Play Better Promise provides you with extra peace of mind. If you’re not happy, you can return it for an exchange. This can be applied against another wedge or used for a shop credit valid for six months.

To return your golf wedge, please send it back with a cover note that includes your GSO order number and a brief explanation of why it wasn’t right for you. The cost of return postage is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked, signed-for service for protection, as The Golf Shop Online cannot be held responsible for returns not received.

Terms & Conditions

• The 60 days start from the date of delivery.
• Available only on products showing the "Play Better Golf Promise" logo.
• Fair usage applies. Returns showing damage, dents, scrapes, or sky marks will be rejected. The headcover must be unused, shafts must be undamaged, and the adjustment tool (if supplied) must be returned.
• Applies to both standard and custom fit clubs. Bespoke non-listed clubs are excluded.
• Customers may only use this promotion once.
• You must email sales@thegolfshoponline.co.uk for authorisation before returning.
• The cost of returning the product is the customer’s responsibility, and we recommend insurance for the return.
