PING has introduced their incredibly subtle Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel to their compact long iron replacement, allowing better players the adjustability to fine-tune their ball flight and launch characteristics and blend it perfectly into their set for the desired use from both the tee and fairway. A lowered CG and maraging steel face have increased the MOI and forgiveness for greater ball speeds and higher launch, making this compact club much more playable for a wider range of golfers looking to add a tour-inspired look to their bag without sacrificing performance.

Key Features & Benefits

Tour-Inspired Design - The blade length has been shortened from previous Crossover models. Their i230 irons have influenced sole shaping to provide a compact player's appearance while inspiring confidence at address. To maintain forgiveness, the leading edge has been rounded with enough bounce to encourage solid impact. Shaft lengths have been shortened by around 1/4" for added control and to seamlessly fit in with any combination of iron sets.
Maraging Steel Face - This high-strength steel has allowed PING to use a thinner, lighter face for greater flex and ball speeds and increased weight saving, which has lowered the CG closer to the expected impact point for more efficient energy transfer through the ball. The face is coated with PING's matte black Hydropearl 2.0 finish and precisely milled MicroMax grooves to achieve a more predictable and consistent launch and spin in wet and dry conditions.
Low CG, High Launch - A lower hinge point at the hosel, lighter face, and strategically placed tungsten weighting in the toe and shaft tip all contribute to a lower CG and higher MOI. This improves energy transfer for increased ball speeds off the tee and encourages more forgiveness and a higher launch for more stopping power into greens.
Improved Feel and Sound - A smaller internal cavity than previous Crossover models contains a specifically engineered EVA polymer to dampen the sound on impact and produce a more solid feel that blends better with the rest of PING's player's iron ranges.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 - Utilising a lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve with eight positions, Trajectory Tuning 2.0 is a new addition to long-iron replacements that allows golfers to optimise launch characteristics specifically for their swing. The club's loft and lie can now be adjusted by up to 3° to dial in ball flight to maximise distance and accuracy.

60 Day Play Better Golf Promise

We believe you’ll get on well with your new hybrid, but if you don’t, our 60-Day Play Better Promise gives you extra peace of mind. If you’re not happy, you can return it for an exchange. This can be against another hybrid or for shop credit valid for six months.

To return your golf hybrid, send it back with a cover note that includes your GSO order number and a brief explanation of why it wasn’t right for you. The cost of return postage is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked, signed-for service for protection, as The Golf Shop Online cannot be held responsible for returns not received.

Terms & Conditions

The 60 days start from the date of delivery.
Available only on products showing the "Play Better Golf Promise" logo.
Fair usage applies. Returns showing damage, dents, scrapes, or sky marks will be rejected. The headcover must be unused, the shafts must be undamaged, and the adjustment tool (if supplied) must be returned.
Applies to both standard and custom fit clubs. Bespoke non-listed clubs are excluded.
Customers may only use this promotion once.

The cost of returning the product is the customer’s responsibility, and we recommend insurance for the return.
