Can I hit real golf balls into every practice net?
No. Check that the net is specifically rated for the balls and clubs you plan to use. We recommend following its installation and clearance instructions, with a safe area around and behind it. Some practice products are intended only for limited-flight balls.
How do I check whether a golf net is safe to keep using?
Inspect the mesh, seams, frame and anchors for wear or damage before practice, following the manufacturer's guidance. Stop using it immediately if you're unsure it can contain shots. Do not assume an old net is sound because it still stands up.
Can I leave a practice net outside all year?
Only if its instructions allow that use, and even then, maintenance and weather limits apply. We suggest packing it away when required and checking after exposure to weather. Outdoor suitability does not necessarily mean permanent installation is recommended.
