Cobra Golf News, Advice and Buyers Guide
Cobra Golf is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of golf equipment and is based in California. Its flagship product, the Baffler, was one of the first utility clubs on the market, produced before their use had become common place.
It produces a full range of clubs and some of its latest releases are listed below:
- The AMP Cell Driver features some of Cobra Golf’s most innovative technologies to help upgrade your game to heights you never believed possible. The MyFly technology allows you to adjust your loft to six choice settings, ranging from 8.5-degrees to 11.5-degrees, to manage your trajectory while maximizing distance. Meanwhile, SMART Pad technology offers maximum forgiveness no matter what loft setting you choose by delivering a square face when it hits the ball, while proprietary CELL technology and Advanced Material Placement offer a 12% larger E9 face, which produces faster ball speeds even when you mis-hit. The Cell Driver is available with four color options: orange, silver, blue and red.
- AMP Cell Fairways provide you with six loft settings, so it’s like getting six fairways in one. You can set the fairway to a 3-4 wood or a 5-7 wood, so that you can easily adjust to changing weather and ground conditions on the course. The head is made with lightweight 17-4 stainless steel and features SmartPad technology that delivers a square face when it hits the ball, no matter what your loft settings, while letting the golfer close or open the driver at address, to increase shot workability.
- The Cobra T-Rail+ Hybrid is an upgrade of the 2012 edition and features the new Tungsten Rail Sole that lowers the center of gravity and combines with the shallow face design for longer carrying distances and higher and more penetrating ball flights. Meanwhile, the 455 steel face is lighter and thinner so it delivers faster ball speeds. There are six available loft options ranging from 2/H with seventeen degrees to 7/H with thirty one degrees. And as with all fine Cobra clubs, it comes with a TG series Graphite design shaft. This is the ideal choice for golfers who are still working on their game and looking for a club that offers them maximum forgiveness.
