Vokey Design Wedges are the finest short game tools in golf, each model meticulously designed by master craftsman, Bob Vokey.

Vokey Design Spin Milled™ wedges have always been unique products that provide a truly discernible performance option - increased spin. The new Vokey Spin Milled wedges go a step further by offering more choices - a full range of lofts from 48 to 64 degrees, low, mid, and full bounce sole options in many lofts, and three distinct non-glare finishes - to execute more shots from around the greens.

Each wedge design is based on Bob's experience working with the best players in the world, including sole designs hand ground by Bob based on continuous input from Tour professionals. Vokey Design wedges have been the most played wedges on the PGA Tour since 2004.

The profile for each wedge has been precisely created using CAD to perfectly blend the size, shape, topline thickness, and offset from loft to loft. Vokey Spin Milled wedges feature a CNC machine cut face and grooves. A special circular saw style cutting tool is used to create precise grooves with a steeper draft angle and a tighter edge radius for increased friction. Vokey Spin Milled wedges have 30% more groove volume than a conventional wedge.

This provides more consistent and higher spin, particularly from grassy lies and wet conditions.

Spin Milled grooves produce a medium trajectory and high spin and conform to the Rules of Golf until 2024, except in tournaments governed by a Condition of Competition. Spin Milled C-C grooves produce a higher trajectory with medium spin and conform to the new 2010 Rules of Golf for grooves and can be used in events that adopt the new rules as a Condition of Competition.

Determine Your Wedge Composition

SELECTING THE PROPER COMBINATION OF GAP, SAND AND LOB WEDGES WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING:

The proper yardage gaps between clubs
The benefit of being able to hit more full shots into greens
A playable trajectory and the proper spin to stop the ball without excess roll or backspin

Determine Your Set

Establish your preferred wedge for sand shots around the green. Typically a SW or LW with 56° - 60° of loft works best.
Calculate or estimate your full shot distance from the turf with your preferred sand club. Compare this to the distance you hit a full shot with your PW. Subtract to find the yardage gap between your PW and your preferred sand club.
If your yardage gap in Step 2 is more than 30 yards, add a wedge between your PW and preferred sand club. If the gap is more than 50 yards, you may need to add two wedges.
After determining how many wedges you need between your PW and preferred sand club, consider adding an even higher lofted wedge with 60° - 64° of loft for shots from deep bunkers or grass, and for soft landing full shots to tight pins.
