The new hybrid from ping is an exciting addition to the G25 family. These clubs are designed to fit the gap between your shortest fairway wood and your longest iron. They have six different loft choices so it should be quite easy for you tofind the best club to fit your game and make life easier on the course.

These are made from 17-4 stainless steel and have the matte finish charcoal non glare finish and the clubs sit nice and square at address. They are easy to align and are confidence inspiring as they have a perimeter weighting system that makes your miss hits not as bad as they would normally be. The sole of the club has a generous camber and this helps the club glide through the turf with easy and stops any unnecessary digging.

It is available in 6 loft options which are 17 degrees, 20 degrees, 23 degrees, 27 degrees and 31 degrees

The 17 degree would be the equivalent to a number 2 iron or a number 5 wood

The 20 degree would be the equivalent to a number 3 iron or a 7 wood.

The 23 degree would be the equivalent to a number 4 iron or a 9 wood

The 27 degree would be the equivalent to a number 5 iron

The 31 degree would be the equivalent to a number 6 iron

If you’re looking a traditionally shaped hybrid that is extremely forgiving, launches the ball high, and feels great at impact then the G25 hybrids are for you. External sole weighting positions the CG low and back to help produce a high launch with optimal spin.

 

It also raises the MOI which allows you to achieve more consistent distances even on miss hits. A generous hitting surface attained by squaring up the low toe and heel section of the face ensures more consistent results when the ball is struck away from the center. The square face also makes alignment easier for improved accuracy.


Generous camber from heel to toe and plenty of sole relief allows the club head to contact the ball solidly even from the most challenging lies. To help generate distance we reduced the perimeter face thickness which improves the energy transfer and increases ball velocity. We custom engineered ball flight through progressive CG positions that optimize the launch angle and spin rate of each club.


A lower lofted hybrid have significant weight position low and back to increase the launch angle and make them easier to hit in the air. In the mid and higher lofted design the CG is more forward to minimize spin and keep the ball from ballooning, a common occurrence with high lofted hybrids.


Custom engineering of the CG position in each loft allows you to achieve the proper trajectory and it creates functional distance gaps between the clubs. Offered in lofts of 17, 20, 23, 27, and 31 degrees the G25 hybrids have a dark none glare finish that minimizes distractions so you can keep your focus and play your best
