Callaway Irons News Reviews and Buyers Guide
About 15 years ago Callaway created the big bertha irons and although these were a bit of an ugly duckling they were the start of something special when it comes to irons. Callaway followed the big bertha with the X series of irons running from X-12 to X-22 and this year they have created a new and simplified range which is the X Hot, XF and X forged irons.
The X Hot come in two options which is the standard and the tour and they are both very long however the tour version has a slightly thinner top line and a little less offset which which would be preferred by a better player.
The X forged irons are in our opinion one of the finest looking blades you will find on the market. They just have a fantastic look to them that will simply inspire you to hit great golf shots. The forged chrome finish gives them a lustre that will simply inspire.
The XF is also a forged head however this head does not quite have the looks of the X forged but these irons do fly and the darkened finish is a unique look but one that golfers will really like.
Once again Callaway have come up with an exceptional range of irons and they continue to show that they are at the top of the tree when it comes to making golf clubs.

“Callaway Golf – Behind The Scenes RAZR Family of Irons, “Rooftop” Commercial”
We’re here tonight on rooftops high above Las Vegas. We knew we had to complete the set with something as epic as blazia fountains and then the mirage volcano.
We want to take Callaway to a more exciting place and we’re putting talent of these Pro’s up on the pedestal. But we’re surrounding them with stuff that’s just visually really cool to look at.
Just says epic in such a great way. We’re building a golf course on top of these buildings, we’ve got two helicopters on the shoot, which is gonna be spectacular. We visually again, those would be the making, the ingredients of a great commercial. I think we’re gonna do things that you’ve never seen in golf before. It’s done on a heightened level.
Most golf commercials are very strict forward, they’re kinda like boring and they you know, and they’re sort of vanilla if you want to call it. We wanted to bring a more exciting edge to it. So, we have this sort of rock and roll, theatrical aspects that we wanted to bring. I’ve done commercials before but this is a little different setting. It’s exciting, I think it’s a very creative setting and it’s a fun setting.
So, we’re having a lot of fun. First time I step on top of the roof, I’m afraid of heights. I didn’t know what to think. But, you know, it’s an awesome feeling knowing that you are standing their on top of the roof with Allan Casornstan, Paula Brown, Fredrik Jacobson.
That’s a great feeling when you’re standing next to those three. It’s an exciting way to show what Callaway was about, and I think it shows what the creativity is about. I’ve always been creative about their products. They are always looking to improve, and this is just a sign, in a way of showing your creativity and creating something that many people enjoy watching.
Excellent job!
