Callaway have been renowned for producing some top quality fairway woods and many of the models can be seen in the bags of top PGA tour professionals.

Some fifteen years ago they produced the warbirds sole and this sole and club was a revolution in golf club design and this can can now be seen in the new X Hot version as they have a modified and updated warbirds sole design.

This sole design combined with the face technology that Callaway have designed makes this the hottest fairway wood on the market with Callaway claiming that these fairway woods are longer than the Talormade RBZ stage 2 fairways.

The Xtreme fairway is the partner to the driver and is a thing of beauty. It is adjustable so once again you can tune this club to your game or swing and this also has a super hot face that will give you a nice little boost in distance.

The Xtreme is available in 4 loft options but these lofts can be tweaked if you use the adjustable hosel and it is also available in ladies as well.

With these two new models Callaway are now a serious contender in the fairway wood market and you may see plenty of golfers ditching the white heads and moving to the X hot or Xtreme fairway woods.
