Callaway Golf Balls News Reviews and Buyers Guide

Over ten years ago Callaway entered the golf ball market and with a huge investment in research and development when they produced the Callaway Rule 35 golf ball. This was a really good ball and they were firmly on the map when it came to golf ball technology.

Callaway are now a serious contender when it comes to golf balls and this season they have a superb range that will challenge the Titleist range and are certainly worth a try.

The HEX Black tour golf ball is the ball you should try if you are currently using a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball and this tour performing ball offers lower spin when using your driver yet the greenside control is fantastic. It has a great feel with perhaps a slightly louder click from the club face when struck.

The HEX Chrome golf balls is still a tour performing ball but it is designed for golfers with moderate swing speeds. It is still a very long ball (perhaps a few yards longer than the HEX Black) and would be the ball of choice if you are currently using the NXT Tour golf balls. They have also made this ball available in yellow.

One of the new balls this season is the HEX Hot Pro golf ball and this is really getting the headlines at the moment. This ball is really long yet surprisingly they have made it feel quite soft and it really does spin and gives you superb greenside control. This ball is certainly worth a try for all level of golfers.

The updated HEX Hot golf ball is another distance ball from Callaway and although this ball may not spin quite as much as the pro version you will notice a few extra yards on your drives and you will get a ball that is super durable. This ball is also available in yellow.

The ball that surprised us the most was the HEX Diablo as this ball is really long (probably the longest in the range) yet it felt surprisingly soft when struck and although this is not a high spinning ball it really did feel good for the short shots around the green.

Finally the entry level balls that Callaway have produced are the Solaire ball for the ladies and the Warbird for all golfers. Both of these balls will hit the ball a long way with a penetrating flight and they will not break the bank when you loose the odd ball or two.

Whichever ball you choose from the range you can be assured that callaway have put a lot of effort into the research and development to ensure that you achieve the best results.
