The lasts of this shoe is identicle to the one I've used for 30 years. Totally reiable and confortable fit.
At the end of the 2023/24 winter I realised I needed a pair of waterproof golf shoes to replace my 12 year old Black DryJoys (I only wear them in the winter) and was amazed to find that the basic style is still available in amongst all the modern day softer styles. I am delighted with the appearance and fit of the shoes, but I shall not be wearing them on a golf course until Oct/Nov'24, dependant on when winter 2024/25 sets in. I have rated them 5-star on the basis of my past ownership of several pairs of DryJoys, the appearance of the Premiere Series Packard shoes delivered and their comfort for the few minutes worn in my own home. I have not had them on outside my house, so this is not a comment on any aspect of their wearability or suitability, but I would be surprised if they are not a successful purchase
All premier footjoy shoes are of unequaled quality and value. These shoes are typical. Unfortunately, my vanity overcame my common sense and I didn’t take into account my old man’s arthritic toes. Consequently, the first time I wore them I developed a sore which eventually turned rather nasty. So, sadly, I shan’t be able to wear them again. I shall have to give them to my son who is also a Footjoy devotee. An expensive lesson learned.
Amazing shoes as always by FJ. I was a little worried they might rub as being new and of a classic design but all was well. I think they will only get more comfortable the more I wear them, so I bought the white ones as well. Lol
