Bushnell Hybrid GPS Laser Rangefinder
Now In Stock
GPS and Laser Rangefinder All in One unit
The Bushnell Hybrid is a revolutionary combination laser and GPS product. The laser rangefinding technology engineered into the Hybrid provides golfers with precise distances within one yard to virtually any point on any course in the world. Over 90% of PGA Tour pros and top amateurs trust Bushnell laser rangefinders to provide them the most accurate distances available in golf today.
The Hybrid’s GPS function allows users to access more than 16,000 North American golf courses which have been pre-loaded onto the device, making it ready to use right out of the box without ever having to pay any membership fees. The Hybrid’s GPS provides simple, at-a-glance distances to front, center and back of the green. The Hybrid also offers four custom points on a hole that can be extremely helpful to reference on blind tee shots/approaches on a golf course. The GPS distances are also convenient on days when it is “cart paths only” when golfers are deciding what clubs to bring with them. Another great feature is the shot distance mode that makes it easy for the golfer to gauge how far a drive or an approach was hit.
With the Hybrid, you can now acquire exact distances to the flag, lip of a bunker, tree, or any other object on the course. Knowing the exact lasered distance to the flag, as well as the GPS provided distance to the front, center and back of the green, enables the golfer to strategize and hit every approach shot with confidence. Having the ability to use both laser and GPS technologies, the golfer now has the best of both worlds in one unit. The Hybrid is legal for tournament play under USGA decision 14-3/0.5 that permits a committee to establish a local rule that allows a player to use a distance-measuring device to obtain distance information.

Hybrid FAQ
How accurate is the GPS and laser portions of the Hybrid?
If the GPS information for a particular is up to date, GPS technology is designed to provide distance measurements within 1-3 yards. Laser readings have accuracies +/- 1 yard.
Why are the GPS distances not matching the laser distances?
The laser will give you the distance to objects in your line of sight. The most common example would be the flag which normally is not in the exact center, front edge or back edge of the green. GPS readings in the Hybrid will give you distances to the front, center and back of the green as well as key hazards. Rarely will a golfer measure the same points using the GPS and the laser.
In the case where the GPS clearly does not appear to be accurate, such as the laser shows 150 yards to the flag which is situated near the center of the green and the GPS reading for the front shows 160 yards. This may indicate that the GPS course file is out of date and should be corrected. GPS corrections can be submitted directly to our mapping partner by email: courseupdate@l1inc.com.
Is it permissible to use the Hybrid under USGA rules of golf?
The Hybrid was designed to be permissible when the Local Rule permitting the use of distance- measuring devices is in effect. This is governed by the USGA’s Decision as it relates to Distance Measuring Devices (14-3/0.5 Local Rule Permitting Use of Distance-Measuring Device), which sets forth that players are allowed to use these in rounds conducted under the Rules of Golf when the Committee adopts the Local Rule, as long as they only measure distance. Additionally, the USGA Handicap System manual (Decision 5-1f/2) sets forth that scores made using these distance-only measuring devices are acceptable for handicap purposes, whether or not the Local Rule is in effect.
How far will the laser portion of the Hybrid obtain distances?
Distance specifications are up to 300 yards to a flag or up to 1,000 yards to larger objects such as trees, bunkers, etc.
Can I change the distance readings from Yards to Meters?
Yes, before powering the laser On, press and hold the fire button for 5 seconds. The Y in the display will blink 3 times before changing to M (meters).
How do I use scan mode?
When the laser is active you would press and hold the fire button which will continually read out distances as you scan.
Will the laser portion automatically turn off?
Yes, the laser display will shut off after not being used for a short period of time.
The display is very weak and the numbers are almost transparent, what's wrong?
The focus on the eyepiece has been turned too far counter-clockwise, turn it all the way to the right and this will bring the Hyrid into focus and more importantly bold the display.
