TaylorMade M5 and M6
The TaylorMade M5 and M6 Product Range Has Landed.
TaylorMade have unveiled their product range for 2019, M5 and M6. The “M” family continues and everybody is about to get a whole lot faster. Last year TaylorMade introduced a revolutionary new design to the driver face, with TWIST Face. Now TWIST Face has been engineered for even more speed and for the first time ever, this new technology is being introduced to TaylorMade M5 and M6 Drivers, Fairway Woods and Hybrid clubs.
What makes the M5 and M6 range faster than its predecessor, is the introduction of Speed Foam. Every club head has been speed injected with a tuning resin, that will optimise COR across the entire face. This speed injection process is designed to maximise ball speed and distance, achieving a performance at or near the legal limit.
The TaylorMade M5 and M6 product range, introduces 4 new drivers in M5, M5 Tour (a 440cc head driver) M6 and M6 D-Type (draw biased) While in the fairway woods, there is the M5, M6 and for the first time an M6 D-Type fairway wood. This year TaylorMade have only introduced the M6 Hybrid and in the Irons new M5 and M6 models will feature, with speed bridge technology.
TaylorMade M5 Driver
The M5 Driver is a multi-material head construction, designed as close as possible to the legal speed limit. This has been achieved through TaylorMade’s breakthrough face technology. Each head get’s individually speed tested in multiple positions before it is strategically injected with a tuning resin. This has been done to achieve the tightest possible tolerance of speed, near to the legal limit.
The Technology Upgrades & Benefits
TWIST FACE continues, providing more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low heel. This will produce more consistent spin in the areas where golfers commonly miss-hit shots.
INVERSE T-TRACK, designed to be more efficient than before, the T-Track has two 10g weights that can be manoeuvred for optimal spin and trajectory. The inverted design allows the weight to be positioned further back along the perimeter of the club, allowing for more CG (centre of gravity) thus increasing MOI (Moment of inertia) and forgiveness.
HAMMERHEAD 2.0, a more flexible hammerhead slot, works in partnership with the speed injected twist face, producing a larger sweet spot, while preserving the ball speed on off centre strikes.
TaylorMade M6 Driver
Just like the M5 driver, the TaylorMade M6 has been juiced up with a speed injected TWIST FACE. Advanced aerodynamics is the main feature behind the M6 driver. A carbon sole design with an “INERTIA GENERATOR”
The sleek aerodynamic shaping provides an increase in club head speed for more distance. The Inertia Generator stores 46g of weight, low and back for maximum forgiveness. 54% more carbon over the M4 allows for more weight to be housed inside the inertia generator.
TaylorMade M6 D-Type, the D-Type driver remains a feature for TaylorMade. A draw biased club head with the same new features.
