Ping Grip Sizes – How to Choose The Correct Golf Grip
If you have read our blog on choosing the correct grip, you know that grip size is crucial for getting the most out of your golf clubs and hitting the ball straighter.
Grip Size Finder
Find your recommended grip size using your hand measurements
How to measure your hand:
A – Longest Finger Length: Measure from the tip of your longest finger (usually middle finger) down to the wrist crease at the base of your hand.
B – Overall Hand Length: Measure from the tip of your longest finger down to the bottom of your palm (base of little finger side).
Select both hand measurements above to see your recommended grip size.

Ping, like the colour code they use for lie angles, also offers a unique way to measure and determine if you need a grip of a different size. Ping grip sizes are currently available in six colours, with “white” as the standard size for men and “red” for women. If you follow the Ping grip size chart, you can quickly determine which colour would best suit you, or you can use the simple Ping Grip Size finder tool above.
To use the Ping Grip size chart, you need two measurements. The overall length of your hand, along with your longest finger. Make sure when you measure your hand, it is from the crease of your wrist to the tip of the longest finger. If you interpret your data on the chart, you will find the colour matches your size.
Ping also offers a variety of custom grips. However, their standard option is the Ping Golf Pride Grips 360 Tour, which is made to the highest quality and provides a great feel.
We can’t stress enough the importance of getting yourself properly custom-fitted, and by taking the steps above, you will make sure you can play your best golf with Ping golf equipment. Please also take the time to check your length and lie angle in Understanding the Ping Colour Chart.

Ping also offers a new smart grip, the Arccos, which comes standard with the Ping G440 Driver Range or the Ping G440 Irons. What is exciting about these grips is that they are custom-built with an embedded sensor that automatically records and analyses every shot taken during a round. When paired with this, you can download an app.
Every Ping iron includes the Arccos Caddie Smart Grip, custom-built with an embedded sensor that automatically records and analyses every shot taken during a round when paired with the Arccos Caddie app. A small fee applies, but they offer instant feedback on your game.

Here at The Golf Shop Online, we recognise the importance of custom fitting and strongly recommend that, when ordering a new set of grips, you consult your local golf professional or club fitter or contact us directly. We can connect you with our Professional staff to advise you as best we can.
If you would like to discuss any aspects of the Ping grip sizes and colour chart or to review your recommendation, please feel free to contact us. Our team of staff and PGA professionals will do everything possible to assist you.
