Common Sense Golf Tips To Prevent Stinking
The market is flooded with little, bright colored plastic gizmos and doo-dads designed to help you with your game. Pile the countless DVS that promise a million ways to improve your game in five minutes or less and you’ve got more plastic then your kids’ toy bins.
While, yes, some of these things work, if you’re a casual player there are some really simple steps to take to make your game better. For example, use the right club! Duh right? Well how often are you trying to use a wedge when you should be using an iron? If you need to club up on an approach you’re not less of a golfer. And if you need to club down from the tee, same thing, it doesn’t make you less of a golfer. The idea is, don’t let your pride factor into club choice. If you need to make to the green in more shots in order to avoid losing ball control, do it! Getting out of the rough or obstacles is always worse.
When putting, aim for the cup! The pros sweat the angles, we don’t need to. And have a drink or two! If you don’t drink, the message here is really stay relaxed. We’re not pros, this is meant to be fun- and when you’re relaxed and having fun your game will be better too. Read more about this here!
