Keep Sane During Slow Play
The sun is shining, it’s warm, but not too warm. There’s a slight breeze kicking up that won’t kill your game but feels perfect. You’re surrounded by friends on the perfect Saturday for golf, and then you realize the people ahead of you are going at the slow, painful pace of a slug on salt.
What do you do? There’s not much you can do. You can yell passive-aggressive insults or you can pass the time in a way where you’re still having fun and working on your game. You know those plastic markers that come in a box of tees? They usually have colors, but either way, one thing you can do is set them up however far apart and try to hit the ball from one marker to the other using clubs you usually don’t to get in some practice. Or you can practice your opposite side swing, which promotes balance and strength. Try stretching as well. Having to wait makes you tense, so stretch that out to avoid injury and make your next show more natural. Check out more here-
