Mark Crossfield – FootJoy Tour Alpha Review
FootJoy’s new range of Tour Alpha shoes are packed with technology to improve each step of a golfer’s swing sequence. Most notably, they have introduced a new double boa option to the range alongside their usual boa and standard laced options. However, with more and more options available, how do you choose the best option for you? Luckily our PGA professional Mark Crossfield has got you covered with his comprehensive FootJoy Tour Alpha Review, breaking down each shoe to help you make the best-informed decision.
Tour Alpha Technology
Each shoe consists of premium, wipe-clean leather and comes with a 1-year waterproof warranty. This is complemented by maximum support and comfort from strong padding around the ankle and midsole that sits on a spread cleat sole design for optimal stability throughout each swing. So what separated these 3 premium FootJoy options?
The standard laced shoe comes in 3 colourways as opposed to the 1 available colourway in both the single and double boa shoes. The single boa utilises Footjoy’s traditional boa system which is very easy to use with a simple mechanism that allows you to release and tighten at the heel of the shoe. The double boa adds this technology to the top of the shoe to secure the top plate too and provide golfers with the ultimate in fit customisation, adding flexibility to ensure you can completely dial in and mould the shoe to your foot.
If you have any further queries on FootJoy’s new range of shoes, please don’t hesitate to contact us or use our “Ask the Pro” tool, and one of our PGA pros would be pleased to assist you. At the Golf Shop Online, we also offer a 60-day no quibble returns policy that gives you 60 days post-purchase to try your new shoes and make sure you love everything about them.
