Darren Clarke and Davis Love III shared cigars in a spirit of great friendship after a dramatic turmoil. Back in 2004, the singles draw at Oakland Hills had thrown them together in opposition for a final day that capped a record-breaking Ryder Cup win for Europe. Six years later, Clarke and Love were opposing vice-captains, with Clarke telling love they should make sure any future reigns as skipper should coincide as well.
