The New Titleist AVX Golf Ball
The New Titleist AVX golf ball has been completely redesigned to deliver unmatched performance in a multi-layered, low compression construction. Consisting of a reformulated proprietary core, to generate the highest speeds and reduce long game spin, and a softer cover to increase greenside control, it promises to continue its evolution as part of Titleist’s premium golf ball lineup.
Player Benefits
- Remarkable Distance and Penetrating Flight
- Very Low Long Game and Iron Spin
- Exceptionally Soft Feel
- Premium Greenside Control
CORE
The reformulated core of the Titleist AVX consists of outer layers to increase stiffness and allowing them to maintain the soft core. This technology combines with a high-flex casing layer to promote the highest ball speeds and lowest long game spin rates in an AVX golf ball to date. However, these decreases in driver and long game spin are incremental to ensure players can continue to maximise spin and control where it is needed most, around the greens.
COVER
Titleist’s R&D team have specifically formulated a new, softer cover for this year’s AVX. It has been precisely cast to increase the softness of the urethane cover over the high-flex core casing to improve short game control and spin around the greens.
DIMPLE DESIGN
7 dimple sizes make up the Tileist AVX’s 348 Tetrahedral Catenary Aerodynamice dimple pattern that has a crucial role in delivering the AVX’s trademark piercing trajectory whilst ensuring consistency on each flight. Having been developed through the Pro V1 and Pro V1x since 2013, this design has been exclusively engineered to suit the lower ball flight of the AVX.
