<\/p>\nIt’s PGA Championship week this week, the final Major of the Golfing season. Set to be held in New Jersey at the Historic Baltusrol Golf Club for the 98th PGA Championship. This final major event of the golfing calendar, is the last chance for the Worlds best golfers to claim themselves a Major title, that will write themselves into the history books among the greats.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Baltusrol Golf Club, synonymous with championship golf, sits at the base of Baltusrol Mountain in northern New Jersey, only a stone’s throw from New York City. With a rich heritage that dates back to 1895, Baltusrol is considered one of the country’s premier golf clubs. Its two championship courses, the Lower and Upper, have played distinguished roles on the national stage since their creation by Golden Age architect A.W. Tillinghast in 1922. Together, the courses have hosted 16 major championships, including seven U.S. Opens and one PGA Championship.\u00a0Baltusrol is steeped in History and the PGA Championship will be returning for its centennial event this year for 2016.<\/p>\n
Last year Jason Day claimed victory of this Major title. Now as World No.1 will he have enough to reclaim it back?<\/p>\n
Play will tee off on Thursday at 7.00 am to kickstart the event, for all the latest tee times and group pairings, keep up to date and check them out here. One top group to keep a close eye on, will be the 8.30am pairing Teeing off at hole no 10, which includes Jason Day, Rory Mcilroy and Phil Mickelson.<\/p>\n
