The Englishman who is famed for his exploits i the bi-annual contest between Europe and the United States was part of the European team that retained the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Poulter has had a difficult season however, suffering from numerous injuries and falling to 26 in the world rankings.
