Titleist Balls - Golf Advice and Buyers Guide

A true champion will do good using ordinary equipment, but will do even greater using quality equipment. Titleist golf balls come in 6 different premium designs suited for all kinds of play and all kinds of champions.

Titleist Pro V1
For golf players wanting great distance in their golf balls, the Pro V1 is their golf ball of choice. The Pro V1 promises exceptional distance, as well as better spin control and a more consistent, dependable flight. The Pro V1 is perfect for putting the ball onto the green—especially with its trademarked Drop-and-Stop control feature that prevents it from rolling from the putting green.

Titleist Pro V1x
Another series from Titleist golf balls that promise exceptional distance and spin control. The Pro V1x offers an impressive low and long spin off that produces smoother shots and flights. Its soft center features a dual core, promoting high velocity and higher trajectories that can cut through winds and cover long distances. The Pro V1x is also featured with the greenside-controlling Drop-and-Stop.

Titleist NXT Tour S
A versatile golf ball good for covering long distances as well as short game distances, the NXT Tour S is a welcome staple in any amateur or professional golfer’s arsenal. This all-around performer comes in white and yellow, with a highly resilient, softly compressed large core. Though shots feels soft and buttery smooth, the NXT Tour S packs a punch even in distances with a consistent and durable flight.

Titleist NXT Tour
The big brother of the NXT Tour S, the Titleist NXT Tour offers a longer driver distance compared to its white and yellow sibling. The NXT Tour has a dual core as opposed to the NXT Tour S’ singular core, but with the same soft albeit smaller center. This allows the NXT Tour to soar through greater distances than the already impressive NXT Tour S, but shots will feel comparatively tougher and more robust than the buttery smooth NXT Tour S.

Titleist Velocity
Aptly named for its speed, the Titleist Velocity is the golf ball that packs the power punch. Golf players will notice an explosive burst of speed during the initial flight, enabling the Velocity to speed through the distances on the green. The Velocity has a solid core using LSX technology that gives it its initial burst while also giving its peak trajectory a deeper downrange.

Titleist DT SoLo
For golf players who like the soft and smooth feel but still like to cover distances, Titleist offers its softest-feeling golf ball series yet—the Titleist DT SoLo. The DT SoLo has an extremely soft yet fast core, which enables it to cover great areas yet remain responsive in short game performances. This series is for golfers who like the dependability of harder cores and the feel of softer compression cores.

Titleist lives up to its name by bringing 6 impressive Titleist golf balls to the game field. These distinct, durable, and powerful equipment will surely be a formidable weapon of choice for golf champions everywhere.

Titleist Ball Fitting

WHENEVER talking and reviewing balls. I am always astonished by the number of players who seem surprised that there is any difference between balls. They think a ball is a ball. But it isn't!

If you go through the online questions on the Titleist website you will be given a recommended and suggested ball model, and hopefully you will find taking these onto the course will be worthwhile for you.

When you play a ball that is property fitted for your game, your shot execution will improve, and consequentty. you should lower your score.

The Golf Ball Fitting process is best conducted from green- to-tee, starting with scoring shots, because most scoring opportunities are created by shots to the green. You follow a very simple and short questionnaire. where you have to decide if you need a better long or short game to lower your scores, and whether you normally hit a miss your target etc.

A selection of balls most appropriate to your reguirements is then suggested, along with an explanation of spin and how it works in relation to those balls.
