About Powakaddy
PowaKaddy is one of most reputable brands in golf industry. It manufactures electric golf trolleys, manual push or pull trolleys, golf bags and accessories. PowaKaddy's main line of business is electric golf trolleys and is recognised as number one in powered carts.
PowaKaddy was founded in 1983 by Joe Catford and John Martin from Kent in UK. The company started from a small factory in Sittingbourne, Kent. After changing hands quite a few number of times, Fergus O'Rafferty and Rossa MacDermot bought Powakaddy in 2004.
PowaKaddy has recently launched its flagship PowaKaddy SPORT electric trolley. PowaKaddy SPORT is a very well-engineered electric trolley which is built from latest lightweight and super-strength materials. It is powered by a 200 watt motor. It features a 3-way folding aluminium frame which reduces its size to fit in a car boot. PowaKaddy SPORT can handle the steepest gold course terrain. PowaKaddy SPORT comes in 3 different models and these are Lithium, Lithium EBS and Lead Acid.
In addition to PK SPORT, PowaKaddy offers its TOUCH 'n' GO and Freeway range of electric trolleys. TOUCH 'n' GO range is built on PowaKaddy's patented technology which provides an innovative method for speed control by using the natural movement of a user to control the speed. PowaKaddy Freeway is recognised as world's best-selling electric trolley with it's lightweight and fully-foldable design.
PowaKaddy also offers non-electric trolleys. In this category, PowaKaddy has three different models - Twinline 3, Twinline 1 and Micra. Twinline 3 is a new and improved non-electric trolley which features high-performance wheels with raised centre treads to ensure low resistance. Twinline 1 is a lightweight aluminium push or pull trolley. Micra features compactness with super-light, sturdy and durable chasis.
PowaKaddy has also entered into designing and manufacturing golf bags, winter wheels, batteries and chargers, umbrellas and GPS solutions.
PowaKaddy is an Official Supplier to English Golf Union (EGU), the governing body for amateur golf in England.
