Nike Golf News, Advice and Buyers Guide
Nike Company is one of the world’s most iconic corporations, with its classic Swish insignia. It is a major global manufacturer of sports equipment as well as being one of the biggest suppliers of sports shoes and apparel. Its line of golf products is marketed under the Nike Golf brand, and the latest Nike Company releases are:
- Nike VRS Covert Driver is an outstanding entry in the newly-launched Covert line and is the first cavity back driver in the market, with a unique weighing system that makes it one of the most forgiving clubs on the market. The VRS also has a groundbreaking flex loft system which allows you to adjust the loft on the same head to between 8.5-degrees to 12.5-degrees. The club face also features the NEX COR technology which helps the player achieve longer hits even when the ball is struck from the toe or heel of the club. The VRS comes with the Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage shaft and is available in Regular, Stiff and X-Stiff.
- The VRS Covert Men’s Fairway Woods features a range of innovative technologies to greatly improve its performance. The NexCOR technology uses variable face thickness that allows a wider range of the face to be used to deliver longer shots and faster ball speeds. The hidden geometry afforded by NexCOR also allows the weight of the club to be moved to the corners, which increases its forgiveness by increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) as well as increasing the distance when you make off-center shots.
- The Method Midnight Putters have been tested by pros on Tour games and have been validated by helping lead to two major victories. The club uses Polymetal Groove technology to increase the accuracy of your shots by generating a faster forward roll at impact. The aluminum and Polymer grooves on the club head help reduce vibrations at impact while creating a pure feel and sound. Meanwhile, some 30kg of weight has been moved to the perimeter from the face and the body to create increased stability as well as a higher MOI. The Method Midnight is available in three models, with different face angles and designs as well as attractive dark chrome finishes.
