The new CG7 and CG7 Tour irons both provide the technical support every golfer is looking for in their irons: Feel, Distance and Forgiveness. Feel comes in the form of 360° Gelback Technology; a one piece injection molded lightweight insert providing vibration dampening across the entire face. Superior Distance is the result of Dynamic Microcavity Technology; progressively sized microcavities for optimized CG location in each head. Heel / Toe Muscle Weighting provides Forgiveness with 6% greater MOI than traditional irons for maximum performance on off center hits. Feel, Distance and Forgiveness… It’s all the support you need.

CG7 LASER MILLED TECHNOLOGY

Precise Laser Milled face texture increases surface roughness than alternative methods. This produces an optimal surface roughness for maximizing spin.

ZIP GROOVES(TM)

This breakthrough technology features consistent milling of each groove to maximum conforming dimensions. The absolute integrity of these grooves is maintained by the application of a proprietary coating to each groove for protection during the face sandblasting process. The resulting Zip Grooves(TM) are pristine, shiny and Cleveland® Golf's biggest, most precisely milled grooves ever.

CG7 Tour DYNAMIC MICROCAVITY TECHNOLOGY

Progressively sized microcavities decrease in length from the long irons to the short irons to optimize the CG location for each head.
Microcavity Technology (MCT) allows movement of discretionary weight lower and deeper for increased distance, ball speed and accuracy.

CG7 Tour HEEL / TOE MUSCLE WEIGHTING

6% higher MOI than traditional irons for increased forgiveness on off center hits.
Lower and deeper CG location for higher trajectory and more distance.

CG7 Tour 360° GELBACK TECHNOLOGY

A one piece injection molded lightweight visco-elastic insert that covers the entire perimeter of the cavity and the base of the head.
Provides vibration dampening across the entire face for superior feel, even on off center hits.
