Cobra S3 Irons with new E9 Face Technology

Cobra Golf, a leading manufacturer of golf equipment, has designed its Cobra S3 Irons for the golfers who want superior all-around performance. Cobra S3 Irons are built on Cobra's new E9 Face Technology which creates a larger Sweet Zone for increased distance and accuracy. E9 Face Technology features a progressive cavity design which changes from an elliptical design in long irons to a more circular design in short irons. This new technology enables the Sweet Zone on Cobra S3 Irons to match the strike patterns that are more common with that set.

Cobra S3 Irons feature a stepped, crescent sole design which provides a superior turf interaction, promoting more consistent distance and accuracy. Although the sole is wide but it plays like a thin sole because of the camber towards the rear of sole.

The Irons uses multi-material with a new hidden internal polymer topline and a full-cavity Thermoplastic Urethane (TPU). This combinantion helps to optimise weight distribution and dampen the vibration for superior feel and distance. The head material for Irons include 3-7 17-4 Hyper Steel and 8-LW 17-4 Stainless Steel. The Cobra S3 Irons are available for Men's in 4-SW and for Seniors'/Lite in 5-SW.

In summary, Cobra S3 Irons offer the best of both worlds where the superior performance is matched with the stylish looks to inspire the golfers. In addition to S3 Irons, Cobra offers a full-range of performance-packed and stylish Cobra Golf equipment.

Impressive Victory by Cillegas

Cobra Golf Equipment Brand Ambassador Camilo Villegas secured an impressive victory at the Honda Classic to capture his third career PGA Tour victory. The Colombian carded a final round 68 to finish 13-under par, five strokes clear of his nearest competitor. The stylish Villegas impressed throughout the week with a controlled display of power and precision, showcasing his long, straight driving and imperious iron play to overpower his rivals. Camillo Villegas Among the equipment trusted by Villegas was the Cobra S9-1 Pro S driver and Pro CB irons, and with an average driving distance of 300 yards and a stroke average of 67 for the season so far, the Colombian truly believes in the equipment driving him up the World Golf Rankings (12th).

This week's victory caps a phenomenal start to the season for the Colombian, who has finished inside the top ten in each of his previous two events. Villegas' victory at PGA National also caps an impressive couple of weeks for Cobra, following Ian Poulter's recent victory at the WGC Accenture Match-Play Championship. Poulter trusted the new Cobra ZL Driver for his first World Golf Championship title, benefiting from the Advanced Multi-Material Construction and Adjustable Flight Technology that offers all golfers the ability to optimise their ball flight for maximum distance, accuracy and forgiveness.

Cobra ZL Driver On Trial

The new Cobra ZL Driver is being tested by many of the Cobra Staff players at present. The new driver is anticipated to be released either towards the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

The Cobra ZL driver has a titanium face and body, but the crown is made from the lightweight carbon fiber. A weight plug--which is not adjustable has been put toward the back of the club to increase the moi, of course if you lower the centre of gravity and create a higher initial launch angle. Using an included torque wrench, the ZL driver will allow golfers to set the head into one of three different face angles – 1° open, square or 1° closed.
