FLIGHT CONTROL TECHNOLOGY AND FORGIVENESS

TaylorMade have added the new TaylorMade r9 460 Driver to the already successful R9 Metal Woods family. The extra 35cc in clubhead size (original R9 = 425cc) and the Flight Control Technology gives you access to eight different clubhead positions but with increased forgiveness and stability than the R9 Driver. The slightly longer shaft also means added clubhead speed through impact resulting in more distance off the tee.

For those of you with slower swing speeds and an inclination to lose the ball right we can set this club up to promote a high draw (adding distance because of the ball flight and draw shape). I can improve the tee shots of some of you - those with slightly faster, repeatable swings on an in-to-out swing path – by setting the club face 2° open. That will help achieve a lower, more penetrating fade. In fact for each of you, I can help find the personal setting that will provide the best results and, of course, help you decide if the standard R9, with MWT, will add any benefits to your game. >
